Germany used to be in two parts, east and west. Depending on who you speak to, it was either better or worse then. It probably wasn'tmuch different from now. Anyway, most of our German hire cars are efficient and made by Volkswagen. That's because Europcar - the main European Car Hire company is owned by Volkswagen. Mind you, when it comes down to it, VW own pretty much everything. Audi, Bugatti, Lamborgini, seat, skoda porsche, bently, part of Rolls Royce (not the trademark though - BMW bought that), they also have fingers in other pies too. That chair you're sitting in, VW probably made that, and the computer. They own your hair, and the rights to your first born child. General Motors own the others, and Tesco probably bought your dad.
